Expanda is the name given to Jayco caravans that have single or double pop out bed ends. This means the caravan can accommodate more people once opened up and still be the same length to tow. These are great for families or people wishing to accommodate larger numbers of people in the caravan.
All of our Expanda’s can sleep 6-7 people with two double beds and two single bunks. Our Expanda caravans are also pop tops which means they are very easy to set up and light weight to tow. All of our Expanda bed ends have the added advantage of a hard lid which keeps the caravan cooler in summer and warmer in winter. While an Expanda requires more set up time than a standard pop top caravan, it is still a very quick process that takes under 5 minutes for a novice.
A great benefit of an Expanda caravan is that you have room to move within the caravan as your beds sit outside of the caravan, this is very helpful when you have kids. All of our Expanda’s come with air conditioning and heating so there is no concern about cold nights or hot days.
